Commenting from Mobile (Android and iOS)
Download the App.
Download and install the Reddit app from Google Play Store or App Store.
Open the App.
Tap the icon to open the application on your mobile phone.
Log in or sign up.
Login or Signup using your email address and password.
Find a post you’d like to comment on.
Once you log in, you’ll find several posts, which include memes and videos. Below the post, you’ll see several options with icons. First, an upward arrow and a downward arrow. These are for up- or down-voting posts. Second, beside the arrows, you’ll find a rectangular dialogue box. That’s the comment icon. Third, you’ll find the share icon, allowing you to share posts with others outside of Reddit.
Tap the comment icon and type Your Comment.
Click on the comment box, and type your comment in the ‘Add a Comment’ box.
Post Your Comment.
Once you are done typing your comment in the comment box, you’ll find a ‘Post’ option in the upper right corner of the comment box. Tap on the ‘Post’ option, and your comment is successfully posted.
Commenting from a Desktop
Visit the Site.
Go to https://www.reddit.com.
Find the login page.
Once you click on the link, you’ll land on the page, where you need to log in or sign up.
Login.
To log in, use your email and password.
Sign up.
If you are a new user, you can create an account or sign in using your email address, or simply by signing in with Google.
Find the comment box.
Once you’re logged in to Reddit, you will see posts and videos, and under the posts, you’ll find the comment box. It’s a little icon next to a few others.
Write your comment.
Click on the comment icon, and a dialogue box will be opened. Write your comment and click on ‘Post.’
View your comment.
Now your comment is public.
