LG phones come in three different varieties: bar phones, or smartphones with touchscreens, slide phones, which have a touch screen and a keyboard that slides out, and flip phones that flip open and closed. This wikiHow article will teach you how to turn on each type of LG phone.
Turning on a Bar Phone
Make sure your phone’s battery is charged.
One reason your phone might not be turning on is because the battery might be out of power. Connect your phone to the power adapter you received with your phone.

Turn on the phone.
Most LG bar phones have the power button located on the back of the phone, centered beneath the camera lens. Press and hold the power button to turn on the phone. Stop pressing the button when the screen lights up.

The LG flip phone uses the call end button to turn the phone on and off. Open the flip phone, and then press and hold the End/Power key until the screen turns on.

Click the link to go to the LG support site.
Enter your phone’s model number.
In the Enter model number or name field, type your phone’s model number or name, and then click Search.
